Company Overview
The College of Education at Mississippi State University is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and is a member of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. The College, the third largest at Mississippi State University, includes the Departments of Counseling, Educational Psychology, & Foundations; Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education; Educational Leadership; Instructional Systems and Workforce Development; Kinesiology; Music, and the Division of Education at the Meridian Campus of Mississippi State University. The research centers include the National Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision; America Reads; Mississippi Migrant Education Service Center; Mississippi Writing/Thinking Institute; MSU World Class Teaching Program; the T.K. Martin Center for Technology & Disability; and the Research Institute for Sports Convergence. Currently, the College serves nearly 3000 undergraduate and 800 graduate students with approximately 140 faculty and 100 staff.
