We have built our reputation as being on the leading edge of our industry through design excellence, building lasting relationships, and delivering high value to our clients. BDG understands that each client has a unique set of business strategies, which we focus our services to support, creating a true partnership. Our projects are extremely diverse in terms of project type, design styles, practice areas, and scale.
Company History
BDG Architects is a 80+ person firm formed in 1994 as a full service Architectural, Space Planning, Interior Design and Program Management practice to provide expertise, experience and knowledge through quality creativity in design and production of architectural, interiors and program management projects. With our headquarters office located in downtown Tampa, Florida, as well as other locations in Hollywood, Florida and Birmingham, Alabama, BDG Architects has built a practice over 25 years, based on producing creative architecture and interior design for a variety of clients and project types. In 2013, BDG Architects merged with Urban Studio Architects, a Tampa based firm formed in 1989 specializing in interior architecture/space planning, multi-family residential and hospitality, and with PKA Associates in Birmingham, Alabama, a firm specializing in banking projects and corporate interiors. The firms were brought together to utilize the strengths, experience and expertise that each has to offer to create a unique new firm structure capable of design and production for a variety of project types and sizes.
