Company Overview
Interactive Design Architects (IDEA) was founded in 1992. IDEA is small by design, retaining a close-knit collaborative environment that allows for inclusive decision making. We believe in the value of cultivating architects to learn and evolve into well-rounded professionals capable of many roles within the field. We believe in a healthy office environment, with respect for the individual, transparency in decision making, and maintenance of a good Work/Life balance.
Our portfolio includes projects for The Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago with Renzo Piano Building Workshop, the University of Illinois, the University of Chicago, Lincoln Park Zoo and the General Services Administration and features collaborations such as our on-going work as Associate Architect to Tod Williams | Billie Tsien Architects for The Obama Presidential Center. Interactive Design Architects is certified as a Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise and is an equal opportunity employer.
