Company History
MWA Architects is a collaborative design practice with a firmly held belief that innovative design is inherently
sustainable and enriches the community.
Since the firm’s founding in San Francisco in 1988, MWA Architects, Inc. (MWA) has gained a national
reputation for integrating urban design and community participation in infrastructure, housing and
neighborhood revitalization projects. With 31 years of architectural design experience, MWA is adept
at providing technically proficient and beautifully designed spaces. We believe in the unique integrity
inherent in each project and listen closely before committing to each design. We guide projects in an
informed, expert manner allowing us to deliver projects within schedule and on budget
